Christmouse Card

Tonight I have a card for the Inkspirational Challenge 208 - Animals.  This is also my first Christmas card for 2020 and hopefully there will be many more before December

I have used a LOTV digital image Christmouse Pudding and I have used pencils to colour the image.  The sentiment and the added holly are Kaiser Kraft stamps.  As are the rhinestones. The DP is Doodlebug Design

The card I am sharing tonight is another Christmas card.  

I store the finished cards in a small basket and when a family member needs one they can help themselves.  I hope I have enough.

Before I go I thought you might be interested to see where I work.  I was going through some old photos on a disk and I came across this photo.

Geelong used to be a big port for wool sales.  These building are repurposed wool stores.  Only very hot days there is still a faint smell of lanoline.

This week's code word for the challenge at Addicted to CAS is Wheels

The image is a digital image from Lily of the Valley and I used Copics to colour it.  The grey card and the yellow spotted paper are scraps I have had for yonks and I don't know the brands.  I don't know the brand of the sentiment stamp either as it has lost it's packaging.

Tonight I have a card for CAS(E) this Sketch #209

I have used a LOTV stamp, James Peeping, and a Hero Arts sentiment.  Both are stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black.  James was coloured with Lyra pencils.  The hearts were made using a Simon Says die and had Glossy Accents added to them.  The card is Bazzill.

A Smile

I am joining the fun at CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #205 but only by the skin of my teeth.  It is such a good sketch I couldn't resist.

I used two sheets of Authentique, Crush.  A LOTV sentiment was stamped on the pink sheet using Momento, Tuxedo Black.  This was then framed using a piece of grey bazzill card and some sequins added.  Then this was mounted on the base card using foam tape 

It is Australia Day today and we are having a BBQ.  So I need to go and finish the salads.

New Home

The challenge #312 at Less is More this week is the theme New Beginnings.

This gave me the chance to ink up a stamp I have had forever and never used.

It's a very cute LOTV stamp, Moving House.

I stamped the image using Momento, Tuxedo Black and coloured it using Lyra pencils.  The card was cut to size using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die. The sentiment was computer generated and attached using staples.  Finally this was stuck to the card base using foam tape.

As this is a five Saturday month the challenge over on Less is More’s blog this week is a “Lucky Dip” and it is Paper Piecing

NB:  A sheet of paper from the KaiserCraft pad Le Chateau was used for James and LOTV pad Bonnets & Bows was used for the heart & the patch.  I then shaded the paper with my Lyra pencils.
