Pink Flowers

Last weekend my husband was showing me some photos he has been cataloguing for a history group.  This one caught my eye and I thought you might like to see it.
This is Mr Charles Jackson and family at Beech Forest, circa 1910.  Beech Forest is 140 miles from Melbourne, at the southern tip of the mainland.  It is on the main ridge of the Otway Ranges.

Roses

Ballarat is well known for its begonias and at this time of year they are at their most beautiful.  A week ago Sunday I went to Ballarat to visit a friend while there I went to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens. Following are some photo of begonia display in the hot house.
