Last weekend my husband was showing me some photos he has been cataloguing for a history group. This one caught my eye and I thought you might like to see it.
This is Mr Charles Jackson and family at Beech Forest, circa 1910. Beech Forest is 140 miles from Melbourne, at the southern tip of the mainland. It is on the main ridge of the Otway Ranges.

ReplyDeleteWonderful old photo. That really shows that mum's were/are Super Heroes. What a hard life they would have had. The pretty card really says it all.
