After posting my card
last night I remembered a song we used to sing as children.
Kookaburra sits on the old
gum tree,
Merry merry king of the
bush is he.
Laugh, Kookaburra, laugh,
Kookaburra
Gay your life must be!
But we had another version
we liked to sing.
Kookaburra sits on the
electric wire,
Jumping up and down, with
his pants on fire.
Ouch, Kookaburra, ouch,
Kookaburra,
Hot your tail must be!
So for a bit of fun, my card tonight is a Kookaburra sitting on an electric wire.
