Our Beautiful World: Words

The theme this week at Our BeautifulWorld  is Words.

I chose these words because next week is ANZAC day and I have always found theses words very moving.  They remind us of the futility of war and loss of so many lives.

These words are on this Boer War Cenitaph.

NOTE:
ANZAC Day: is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders "who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

Thank you for visiting and have a happy Easter

Skye

  2. Hi Skye, wonderful words, why we must kill and kill and kill. I am South African so the Boer War Cenitaph is of interest to me. I have Australian, Great Uncles who dies in the fist world war, so will be remembering them and all the others who deserve our respect and thanks. They died so young.

  3. Wise words, Skye ... lest we forget ... we live in the world we have because of those who gave their lives to preserve it ... we're right to honour them! Happy Easter to you! Anita :)
