A rushed post this morning because I ran out of time last night. I have two cards the first is for the challenge at Less is More challenge #69 which asks for a card that is neither a square nor a rectangle.
I have made this card for a couple of girlfriends in a variety of colours and it has proven very popular.
Supplies: Blue card, design paper, the duck from Cutting Cafe, ribbon and Kaiser pearl
Here is my next card which is square and for a little boy
Supplies: Green, blue and white card, design paper, image from Mo Manning, Lyra pencils, buttons and Annabelle's Hemp Twine
This card is for
Mo's Challenge Blog - World Traveller
Here comes the boys - anything goes
2 Sisters - Boys
Crafty Catz - Card for a man
As I was making the card I was thinking of when my son was this age, Heading out into the world, eagerly and confidently, keen to see what the world held for him. I was so happy for him and so proud but I was also sad for myself because these were his first steps away from me. So I thought this would also fit in with the challenge at Joanna Sheen -
Remember when.
Must fly
Have a good day
i know how you feel abt your son leaving you..i am also sad about the thought of being away from my baby :(
ReplyDeleteneverthless..we all know that is nature..we (like our parents) have to make these sacrifices for the growth/progress of our children
