Tonight I have cards for The Twofer Card Challenge #26 Rain/Umbrella.
I have used an old Annabelle stamp -A Beautiful Day. I used pencils to do the colouring
Only the umbrella from the above set was used for this card. I used DP paper to paper piece the the umbrella. The sentiment is Jane Doodles Pretty Peony and the hearts are a Simon Says Stamp stencil
❤
These are so lovely, Skye! I'm smiling at the sweet sediment and image on your first design. That birdie is so appreciative of the kindness shown by the little girl! And I love your CAS and romantic second design! Thank you for playing in Twofer Card Challenge # 26! Take care and keep safe! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteTwo very lovely cards Skye. Have a safe Anzac Day...Hugs Loz
ReplyDeleteBoth are sweet but that little girl just melts my heart
ReplyDeleteHi Tonilea, I like her too. She is an old stamp from a company that is no longer around. To me she looks like a sweet, old fashioned school girl.
DeleteWhat a fabulous duo, Skye ... the little girl with her shimmery heart-bedecked brolly is adorable ... and the colouring is delicious! Great paper piecing on your CAS umbrella ... the scattering of hearts mimics the pattern beautifully! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous Skye - I have that stamp too, and absolutely love it! Sadly, I didn't think of using it for this challenge, but opted for a new SU stamp - duh! thank you for reminding me of something so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet scene with that little girl and her umbrella helping out the bird! Your lovely paper pieced umbrella is perfect with the shower of hearts! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
ReplyDeletePopping back to congratulate you, Skye, on your Honorable Mention win at Twofer! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThese cards are just delightful, I am not surprised you got an honourable mention xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful duo of umbrella cards! I just love your pencil colored images and cute designs. The sentiment on the love card is so elegant and pretty with all those tiny hearts! Congrats on your honorable mention too, well done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set of cards, Skye. Your colouring looks so intense and vibrant. Both cards are so pretty. The colour pencils look so rich.
