Hello,
This week over at One Layer Wednesday the challenge is to put snow on your card...and not just stamped snow - "glitter, sparkle pens, Smooch, glimmer mist, flower soft, flock, puff paint, artist's paste, or any other simulation of snow you can think of". I decided to try something new so I have used a dimensional paint.
Supplies: White card, Hero Arts image, Artee Stamps sentiment, Kaleidacolor ink pad, Lyra pencils and KindyGlitz 3D dimensional paint.

We have a family of magpies living in our garden and at breakfast time I can watch them feeding in the garden. There are three babies that can fly but not feed themselves yet. I like watching the parents running from one baby to another to feed them all. The babies are quite noisey until food is put in their mouths. I have been trying to take a photo of the process and finally have a reasonable shot.

Magpies can be very territorial during mating season and will swoop anyone or anything that comes into their territory. I have walked out of a park backwards so I could keep an eye on a magpie. Because the minute I turned my back on it it would attack me. When we took our dog for a walk in another park the magpies would leave us alone but attack the dog. In the end our dog refused to enter this particular park. Not surprising really.
The family in our garden don't bother us or our pets. But at present they won't allow any other birds into our yard when they are feeding. It doesn't matter whether the bird is big or small the magpies chase them out.
I hope you are all having a nice weekend.
Thank you for dropping by
Such a delicate card and the snow looks very effective.
