A Scene

Hello,

This week the challenge at One Layer Wednesday is to create a scene.  This was a fun challenge.  I have used a photo as part of a scene before but never created a complete scene.  I must admit the fun was also tempered with frustration.  I had completed a few scenes before this only to have a mishap such as a smudge or inky fingers spoil the card.  On this one it was the sentiment.

Supplies:  White card, Annabelles Stamps image and sentiment, Art Journey image, Distress Inks, VersaColor Inks

Will also join the fuan at -

  1. Love this summery scene - a nice change from all the snow! (not that I don't like them, but it's fun to try something different!) I hear your frustration. I actually smudged mine after taking the photo and it is now NOT a one layer card, but a panel on another card!

  2. I think one layer cards are so tricky to do, and I always have some mishaps, but I understand now that it doesn't only happen to me. Great end result with this one!

  15. I loved reading your post. The honesty of it and how I can so relate!! Irks my gears when the last thing on the card goes wrong..LOL. I feel your pain, but I must say, I think your card is just sensational and honestly, if you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have noticed it. Beautiful work here and thank you so much for sharing it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to link up your talent and creative ideas with us at Make It Monday!
    Happy Crafting...
