Revisit Sketch Challenge

Hello,

I am now on annual leave and so you won't forget me I have attempted to schedule some post.  This blogging keeps me learning.

Recently I have been struggling with ideas for cards and after many frustrating hours have finally posted a card out of pure desparation.

One such card was entered in the AnnaBelle Stamps (ABSC054) challenge.  I was happy with the small square but I was unhappy with the overall look.  So I have had another go.
Here I have added some Chevron (Lawn Fawn) using Distress Ink.  I think this is better.

People out there in bloggland are so wonderfu, they never focus on the negative they always find something positive and make the sweetest comments.

One question - is adding the chevron in keeping with the sketch?

Well that's all for now.  If I have access to a computer I will let you know how my holiday is progressing

Take care and thank you for dropping by

  1. Hi there,
I found this card beautiful even without the chevron... but ultimately it is how one feels about one's creation. This new look is equally charming.

    Happy holidaying,

    Monica

  2. I like the chevron Skye and you know I love using the negative die cut so your card is pretty perfect as far as I'm concerned! Enjoy your holiday!

  3. I think the card looks great both with and without the chevrons. I am a slow card maker as I do a lot of trying of this and that before I decide on a design. Sometimes I believe that the final card could actually have been at least ten, rather different ones, because I struggle to decide upon the outcome of hat the final result should look like. I think you do super cards, Skye!
