Poppies and Doilies

Hello,

It has been a lovely day today.  The weather has been calm and sunny.   It started with a heavy frost, I overcame that by getting up later.  I was able to put the washing outside on the line and I even did some work in the garden.  We drove out into the country to visit some friends, everything is so beautifully green and the dams are full (these dams haven't been full for years and year)  As I said a lovely day.

Now to tonights card -
Supplies: White card, Hero Arts-Starburst Lace & sentiment, Blockheads Poppy, VersaMark Watermark , Alison Ellis clear embossing powder, VersaColor, Lyra pencils, ribbon, mounting foam.

This card is for the following challenges -
City Crafters  - #115 , ‘Hello Doily’
Paper Play - Happy Birthday
Make it Monday - Anything Goes
Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - A Plate of Pretty Poppies.  (Nice alliteration)
That's all for tonight.

Thank you for dropping by

NOTE -  The Starburst Lace image was clear embossed and then Fired Brick Distress ink was gently applied over it.  Finally I gently used a tissue to remove excess ink.

  1. I don't know the technique you've used to create the doily, but the result looks amazing! We've had rain all day in Oslo...
