Food

Good morning,

Over at CASology the team  have come up with a very appropriate cue asThanksgiving was celebrated on Thursday.  The cue being "Gobble".
I don't have any images that would be directly applicable.  So I came up with something that maybe gobbled (of course, being ladies, we wouldn't but we would use a cake fork, napkin and doileys).

As a small child I would be taken to visit an elderly relative and she would always presented afternoon tea on pretty delicate china with beautiful handmade doileys.  Which brings me to  the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger, the inspiration for todays card.

Supplies: Whit and Brown card, Just Inklined digital image, Hero Arts doiley & sentiment, Distress Ink pad, Nestabilities dies, Lyra pencils and Prima flower.

I used Mojo Monday Challenge #268 for the sketch
and the Southern Girls colours southerngirlschallenge - pink and brown.

I will also join the fun at Jellypark Challenges for the fun theme of "I'm Hungry!", as well as Jingle Belles prompt #24 "Christmas Feast".

Enjoy the rest of the day and thank you for dropping by

Hardware

Hello,

Over at Less is More week 94 the theme is Hardware.  For this theme nothing came to mind.  So I started to go through my drawers and found some bone shaped brads that I had purchased a long time ago.  And then an idea.

Supplies:  Red and white card, Just Inklined Digital Stamps image, Blockhead stamps sentiment, Jillibean Soup twine and a brad

Make it Monday: Anything Goes

About a month ago we experience a big storm and our gate was damaged.  We couldn't shut it.  My husband did some bush carpentry, just something to keep the gate shut until we had it repaired.  That night I came home to find our dog shut in our front yard with a note explaining our neighbour had found our dog on the street and she had brought it home.  This was so nice of her, I don't know what I would have done without my little dog.  My original intention was to make her a Christmas card to go with a gift as a thank you.  But I like this is idea better.

Fantasy In Fall

Hello Again,

Thank goodnes the headache has gone and I had a chance to make a card.  It's for Tuesday Trigger: Fantasy In Fall over at Moxie Fab World.  It was the great colours that caught my eye but I have had trouble matching them.

Supplies:  White and coloured card, Hero Arts leaf image and sentiment, Annabelles butterflies, Distress Ink, Cuttlebug embossing and Kaiser rhinestones

I have seen this technique, stamping and then embossing, used by other crafters and have liked it.  It gives such a different look to the stamped image.

Penny's 102:  - Anything Goes
Tammy's Scrappin Corner: #36  - Anything Goes Any Artist

I have just been on the phone with a friend who has a deadline with a new craft project.  She has ideas but is not sure.  So we were going through different sites to come up with ideas for her.  Talk about virtual crafting.  It would have been perfect if I hadn't forgotten to make a coffee before hand.

Speaking of coffee, I need one.

Thank you for dropping by

Gnome Sweet Gnome

Hello,

It's time for another challenge over at Less is More, One Layer with the theme of Houses.  Another one layer, that's two in one week - madness.  It was fun choosing the type of house - birdhouse, lighthouse, gingerbread house and the list goes on.

Supplies:  White card, Diane Carubia image (digital), computer generated sentiment-Font-Schoolbell, Lyra pencil and Kindy Glitz

Another lovely weekend over.  The weather has been lovely, encouraging me out into the garden.  Caught up with a friend for coffee and a chat.  As fate would have it the coffee shop was right next door to a craft store.  Couldn't pass up an opportunity like that?

I would like to stay and chat but must head off to do some ironing.

Take care and thank you for dropping by.

A couple of years ago we came out a drought.  We had all struggled to keep gardens together with little or no water.  Just before the drought started I planted a clematis and I managed to keep it alive, only just.  But this year the effort has paid off because there is a profusion of flowers covering the trellis.

I hope you are all enjoying a lovely weekend.
