Baby Boy

This week's code word for the challenge at Addicted to CAS is Wheels

The image is a digital image from Lily of the Valley and I used Copics to colour it.  The grey card and the yellow spotted paper are scraps I have had for yonks and I don't know the brands.  I don't know the brand of the sentiment stamp either as it has lost it's packaging.

I will also join the challenge at  Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #252 -Make Your Mark.

Condolences

The card tonight is for the CAS(E)this Sketch Challenge #230

Early this month on Less is More Challenge blog there was a card by Pauline Bird I liked very much.  So after much humming and hawing trying to decide what to do for this challenge I decided to case Pauline's card.  You can see the card here Crafting with Cotnob.  Thank you Pauline for the inspiration.

The image, sentiment and stripes are all digital.  I purchased them from Pink Petticoat, which is now The Lovely Studio.  I cut a piece of white card slightly smaller than the cardbase and heat embossed it using Range Liquid Platinum embossing powder.  I cut the all the digital images to match the sketch and adhered them to the Platinum panel and in turn attached the panel to the cardbase using foam tape.

Heart

It is the one layer challenge with a coloured card base at Less is More but with a difference.  This challenge will run for 2 Weeks in conjunction with AAA CAS Cards.

I have used a Technique Tuesday image and sentiment.  They were heat embossed using Hero Arts white embossing powder.  I used a gel pen to make a faux stitched border.

Birthday

Tonight I have a card for the colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches #230

This card is very simple and straightforward. The image is a Lawn Fawn stamp and the sentiment is Penny Black.  I used Distress Ink and Versa Color inkpads.  The card was mounted on coloured card stock and in turn was mounted on the card base with foam tape.

White on White

The theme for this week's Addicted to CAS Challenge #114 is White on White

I die cut Leonora Bloom, Memory Box, and adhered it to the the panel.  The sentiment is from a Penny Black set.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black and the clear embossed it with Hero Arts embossing powder.  A Stampin' Up embossing folder was used to give some texture to the card.  The panel was mounted onto the card base with foam tape.

Blue Bird

This week the Less is More Challenge #335 is Colours of Your Country's Flag.  The Australian flag is red, white and blue.

I coloured the digital image, A Day for Daisies, with Copics.  I have a limited range of Copics hence the pale blue rather than the navy of our flag.  I hope this is still acceptable?  A small red punched flower with clear rhinestone centre was added to the birds beak.  Then using a Spellbinders circular die I cut a hole in piece of card, stamped the sentiment, Avery Elle, and added three Kaiser Craft pearls.  This was then mounted over the bird image using foam tape.

Hen

This week the cue word for the Casology Challenge is FLY.

I have used an image from A Day for Daisies and the sentiment is a Mama Elaphant die.  The design paper is an unknown scrap.  I used Lyra pencils to shade and colour the hen.

I know hens can fly because ours fly over a chest high fence we put up to keep them out of our vegetable garden.  Well they fly to to top of the fence and then jump over.  Our hens, Tim & Tam, are glossy brown hens not white and they don't wear aprons.

Beach Huts

The challenge at Less is More this week is a sketch.

I have used a digital image from Just Ink Lined which I coloured with Copics and the sentiment is from a Technique Tuesday set.  Lawn Fawn dies were used to cut the curved lines.  I fussy cut the green beach hut and mounted on foam tape for dimension.
